About Us
Believe This-Ability is a Non-profit organisation dedicated to develop the abilities of people with disability to achieve a life of success. All humans exist for a reason, so we are of the utmost belief that people with disability have the potential to become great if they are equipped with the necessary skills and environment to thrive.
Our Story - How Believe This-Ability was born
“I went to see my mentor (father) concerning a community project I have wanted to embark on for a long time. After explaining the details of the project to him, he gave me his feedback why such an idea will be beneficial to the community. But as I sat with him, he alluded to the fact that the disability community rather need empowerment.
This was when it was done on me to do something about the disability community, especially when I have had series of discussion with my wife about my concerns with the wrong perception, misconception, undesirable attitude, and negative belief the society have towards people with disability.
My conversation with my mentor (father) affirm what God wants me to do for the community, to change these societal perceptions and misconceptions towards people with disability. Most importantly, to encourage individuals and organisations to Truly Believe in the capability of people with diverse ability (disability). Hence, Believe This-Ability was born!” – Samuel Adeola
